Ingredients
5 cups blueberries
1 1/2 cups sugar or to preference
2 tablespoons lemon juice or (2 teaspoons cider vinegar)
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions
Clean and de-stem blueberries. Combine blueberries, sugar, lemon juice and lemon zest in a large, heavy pot and bring to a boil. Continue to boil, stirring frequently, until preserves thicken and jell (15-20 minutes); skim off foam as necessary.
